Power EPC Superintendent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee designated project sites and daily contractor operations

• Direct job site supervision, coordination, and performance across all project disciplines

• Manage on-site safety, scheduling, construction quality assurance, cost management, labor oversight, equipment procurement and delivery, and client interactions

• Serve as a point of contact for clients, inspectors, and visitors

• Advocate for and enforce safe, secure, and healthy working environments

• Adhere to legal regulations and secure necessary inspections

• Administer and coordinate construction activities in accordance with contract documents and quality benchmarks

• Create, sustain, and oversee project schedules and key milestone dates

• Manage contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and various agreements

• Handle project scope modifications and ensure the application of current contract documents

• Keep records and update timecards, field reports, scheduling updates, as-built drawings, shop drawings, RFIs, layouts, and project correspondence

• Assist in project closeout tasks, including punch lists, start-up procedures, and system commissioning

• Track project expenses, identify discrepancies, and initiate corrective measures

• Define project objectives and scope, calculate resource needs, establish protocols, allocate resources, and coordinate with staff and subcontractors

• Address design issues and assess and implement modifications

• Support FTI business goals and pre-construction budgeting and execution strategies

• Manage multiple projects based on project size, complexity, and phase

• Carry out additional related tasks as assigned

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, completion of a Certified Trade Apprenticeship Program or Equivalent Experience, and ongoing industry training

• 4 years of experience in relevant trades

• 3–6 years in a similar role or demonstrated successful project delivery

• Willingness to travel up to 100%

• Availability to work from 6 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday, with potential for nights, weekends, and holidays based on client needs

• Comprehensive understanding of construction documents and specifications

• Awareness of the scope of work for all subcontractors

• Capability to organize and lead a project to successful completion

• Proficiency in managing large-scale projects and/or multiple medium-to-large projects

• Must successfully complete a background check and drug screening
