This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports, which includes data modeling, DAX, and visual layer creation.
• Assist in configuring VMS reports and integrating data, ensuring accurate validation of data retrieved through API connections.
• Extract and consolidate metrics from various sources, including manual calculations, for monthly reporting cycles.
• Create and enhance SQL queries and data structures to meet dashboard and reporting requirements.
• Discover and implement automation opportunities for routine reports and refresh workflows.
• Resolve issues related to Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and data discrepancies.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients, as necessary, to gather reporting requirements and review final dashboards.
• Utilize staffing/MSP industry context, encompassing SLA/KPI metrics, cost-saving methodologies, and rate benchmarking.
• Record builds and processes for team maintenance and future enhancements.
• Strong working knowledge of Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and dashboard/report design.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and validating source data.
• Excellent skills in Excel and MS Office, with the ability to perform metrics and numerical calculations.
• Preferred experience with at least one VMS platform (Fieldglass, Beeline, or VNDLY), or a willingness to learn quickly.
• Understanding of data warehouse concepts and experience working with multiple disparate data sources.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills — capable of articulating reporting logic to non-technical stakeholders.
• Self-driven and comfortable operating within a project-based environment with a moderate level of autonomy.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in business intelligence, reporting, or data analysis roles, with significant hands-on experience in Power BI development.
• Experience supporting an MSP program or exposure to a major VMS platform (Fieldglass, Beeline, or VNDLY) is preferred.
• Experience in staffing, recruitment, or talent acquisition settings is a plus, but not a requirement.
