Post-Merger Integration Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee comprehensive integration planning and execution for acquisitions, ensuring readiness from Day 1 to complete operational and cultural assimilation.

• Serve as the main liaison among leadership, functional teams, and acquired entities throughout the integration process.

• Identify and address cultural, communication, and procedural discrepancies between merging teams.

• Create and monitor integration roadmaps that include milestones, responsible parties, and success metrics across HR, operations, systems, and cultural workstreams.

• Collaborate with People/HR, Finance, IT, and business unit leaders to harmonize policies, tools, reporting structures, and operational methodologies.

• Highlight risks and obstacles early on and suggest practical solutions.

• Develop and sustain integration documentation, playbooks, and repositories of lessons learned.

• Assist in due diligence and pre-closing preparations for upcoming acquisitions.

• Conduct workshops and regular check-ins to ensure alignment, transparency, and accountability.

• Provide regular updates on integration progress and risks to leadership.

• Proficient in English with outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• At ease with presenting to senior leadership.

• Proven experience collaborating with individuals and teams from diverse cultures and countries.

• Authentic cross-cultural fluency.

• History of successfully delivering international, cross-border, or multi-site projects.

• Previous experience in M&A integration, post-merger integration, or related change management/transformation initiatives.

• Strong skills in stakeholder management.

• Methodical and organized approach to developing roadmaps, tracking actions, and ensuring accountability without formal authority.

• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting to shifting priorities.

• Willingness and capacity to travel as required to support integration efforts across various locations.

• Proficiency in additional languages besides English is advantageous.

• Experience in the technology, software, or services sectors is a plus.

• Background in consulting, corporate development, or a focused M&A/integration role is a bonus.

• Familiarity with change management frameworks and the design of integration playbooks is beneficial.
