• Achieve the sales targets for ICU (market-leading disposable) Infusion Therapy, Oncology, and Specialty products within your territory.
• Develop exceptional presentation abilities and possess in-depth technical knowledge of the ICU product line, ensuring effective communication with hospital clinicians while adhering to FDA, CDC, SHEA, INS, ONS, ASHP guidelines.
• Understand the competitive landscape, including the strengths and weaknesses of rival products, and effectively position ICU Medical’s solutions against them from a clinical perspective. Act as a clinical expert and consultative problem solver for clinical and supply chain contacts in the field.
• Familiarize yourself with the assigned territory, customer base, contracts, pumps, solutions, distribution models, etc.
• Conduct product trials and facilitate the implementation of all ICU products.
• Engage with local AVA, INS, APIC, and ONS chapters to build knowledge of the market and the clinicians within it.
• Communicate effectively with managers and align sales initiatives with company and regional objectives.
• Participate in special projects as they arise.
• Be available to work during weekends and nights when necessary.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is mandatory.
• At least 3 years of sales experience with a demonstrated history of success is required, preferably in medical device sales, with established relationships in key regional health systems and experience with needle-free infusion therapy products and services.
• Proven ability to meet quota and drive growth within your territory, along with the development of existing customer relationships, particularly in the Supply Chain sector.
• This position necessitates active and current compliance with all credentialing requirements, including COVID-19 vaccination, to fulfill the essential functions of your role at customer sites.
• This position is a field-based role.
• Work can be conducted from a home office using standard office equipment, as well as onsite at customer locations.
• While performing the responsibilities of this job, the employee may need to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, depending on customer requirements.
• As part of employment, the employee must possess a valid driver’s license and comply with the requirements outlined in the Authorized Driver Policy to drive on behalf of the company.
• Typically requires travel for more than 50% of the time.
