This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues in Customer Experience to pinpoint properties that are suitable for disposal and maintain precise records of decision-making.
• Examine vacant properties to verify their eligibility for disposal and ensure that necessary surplus targets are met.
• Direct and communicate with external solicitors and estate agents, ensuring adherence to legal standards and maximizing value.
• Collect data on stock, performance, and costs to facilitate informed decision-making within the Portfolio Options function.
• Assist in the creation of monthly performance reports for Boards, outlining progress on sales, disposals, and appraisals.
• Oversee and report on team budgets, ensuring financial accuracy and value for money.
• Update internal systems with details of sales progression and completion to enhance effective post-sale processes.
• Evaluate Social Housing Grant levels and legal charges as part of the pre-disposal due diligence process.
• Foster strong working relationships within Stonewater and with external partners, including local authorities and fiber installation providers.
• Contribute to the broader Portfolio Options Strategy and key projects within the Homes Strategy.
• Proven experience in managing property sales within the housing sector.
• Knowledge of the legal, financial, and contractual elements associated with residential sales.
• Familiarity with social housing, planning considerations, and alternative land uses (desirable).
• Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.
• Strong financial literacy and proficiency in IT.
• Exceptional organizational skills, capable of managing competing deadlines.
• Proficient in negotiation, report writing, and engaging diverse audiences.
• Self-assured, proactive, and able to work efficiently at a fast pace.
