Portfolio Manager – Unified Communications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Evaluate new feature requests, modifications, and initiatives for business value, scope, effort, risk, dependencies, and impact on delivery.

• Assist in portfolio intake, triage, prioritization, and governance processes across various workstreams.

• Collaborate with business, product, and technology leaders to facilitate planning, sequencing, and decision-making on trade-offs.

• Coordinate with teams to manage cross-functional dependencies, obstacles, and readiness for delivery.

• Offer coaching and guidance to delivery teams and Scrum Masters to enhance planning, execution discipline, and team performance.

• Create, document, and continuously refine delivery operating models, governance routines, standards, and methodologies to ensure consistency across the delivery organization.

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor roadmap health, milestones, dependencies, RAID items, capacity, and delivery progress.

• Lead governance forums, ensuring that decisions, actions, and follow-ups are meticulously documented and tracked.

• Aid in the planning and execution of programs and cross-team initiatives from inception to delivery.

• Encourage the practical use of workflow tools and delivery management practices, such as Jira, Confluence, Kanban boards, and associated reporting structures.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Portfolio Management, Program Management, PMO Leadership, Product Operations, Agile Operations, or a related strategic planning role.

• Proven track record in managing complex portfolios, programs, or cross-functional initiatives in SaaS, cloud communications, telecommunications, or technology sectors.

• Strong expertise in portfolio governance, roadmap planning, prioritization frameworks, capacity planning, and investment decision-making.

• Demonstrated ability to evaluate new work requests, assess trade-offs, and support executive-level prioritization decisions.

• Experience in creating executive dashboards and reports for portfolio health, delivery progress, milestones, risks, dependencies, and resource utilization.

• In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid delivery models.

• Practical experience with Jira, Confluence, portfolio reporting, and workflow management tools.

• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the capacity to influence senior leaders and foster alignment across business and technical teams.

• Strong business and financial acumen, encompassing ROI analysis, budgeting considerations, and strategic planning.
