This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead investment management services for Wealth Advisors, acting as the primary contact for investment and portfolio management.
• Engage with Advisors to discuss portfolio strategies and objectives.
• Ensure precise execution of investment implementations.
• Act as a liaison for newly acquired firms integrating into Mercer Advisors’ investment platform and models.
• Create investment deliverables aimed at prospective clients to foster organic growth.
• Collaborate with Wealth Advisors, Operations, Portfolio Management, Compliance, and Trading departments.
• Convey investment philosophy and available investment strategies.
• Offer proactive and timely updates on portfolio implementations.
• Present investment strategies and lead discussions on investment topics for Wealth Advisor teams.
• Assist new Portfolio Consultants in building essential competencies within the investment platform.
• Utilize knowledge of capital markets, portfolio design, and management.
• Align Advisor implementation goals with suitable investment strategies.
• Handle complex investment vehicles, models, and platforms, including both public and private markets.
• Draft, support, and review analytics, proposals, and deliverables for Wealth Management Teams.
• Address portfolio inquiries and coordinate process enhancements with central teams.
• Oversee standardized workflows and investment processes.
• Manage simultaneous portfolio implementations to fulfill or surpass Service Level Agreements.
• Review implementations for alignment with target portfolio objectives.
• Conduct training for new hires.
• CFP® and/or Series 65 certification is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the financial industry is necessary.
• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred, ideally in Business, Economics, Psychology, or Finance-related fields.
• CFA or an advanced degree is preferred.
• Familiarity with Orion and Morningstar is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel is preferred, particularly in data analytics.
• In-depth understanding of capital markets and portfolio design and management is essential.
• Expertise in complex investment vehicles, models, and platforms, including public and private markets.
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience are required.
• Excellent analytical and organizational abilities are needed.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a highly collaborative approach.
• Must be organized and detail-oriented.
• Capability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team on various time-sensitive projects with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Availability during standard business hours, Monday to Friday, 8AM-5PM, with occasional early or late hours.
• A dedicated home office workspace free of distractions or a professional office environment is necessary.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time is required.
