Polisy Asia Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Create and provide engineering outputs for Product Sales, customer acquisition, and service solutions, which include Core Applications (PolisyAsia), workflow, middleware integration, and front-end/mobile applications.

• Work closely with Business Product Owners, Tech Delivery Leads, and technical team members to establish technical designs for product launches, post-launch features, enhancements, and new initiatives.

• Deliver technical solutions that align with business needs.

• Supervise core application outputs for product launches, post-launch features, servicing, and middleware integration.

• Become a subject matter expert in PolisyAsia core application initiatives.

• Collaborate with business product owners to achieve product, proposition, and customer service objectives.

• Independently manage the technical delivery of assigned tasks and projects while keeping managers and team members informed.

• Foster relationships with delivery leads, engineering team members, and business users throughout the organization; effectively communicate technical solutions across teams.

• Contribute to the architecture and design of the Policy Administration System by offering best-practice guidance and patterns.

• Stay updated on relevant industry verticals and developments in the insurance/financial sectors.

• Adhere to and commit to agreed-upon timelines.

• Assist with the investigation and resolution of production issues as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Profound understanding of GI Policy administration features and functionalities.

• 5 - 7 years of experience in the Insurance/Financial Industry, with a minimum of 5 years supporting Core Policy Admin systems, particularly PolisyAsia.

• Familiarity with surrounding applications such as GI Integrations, distribution channels, and external entities commonly integrated with GI.

• Solid experience in omnichannel integration.

• Strong grasp of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies.

• Knowledge of integrating with other applications related to core applications.

• A solution-oriented and pragmatic mindset complemented by excellent communication skills.

• Exceptional conceptual and analytical abilities, with a keen motivation to define process automation.

• Proven capability to work effectively in a cross-functional and collaborative team environment.

• Experience with application integration middleware (e.g., MuleSoft) is a plus.

• Strong understanding of Agile / Iterative delivery methodologies.
