PLD/FT, Anti-Fraud, Compliance, Risk and Legal Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Lead, train, and develop a team of analysts and interns focusing on AML, Fraud, and Legal issues.

• Ensure team engagement, effective allocation of workloads, and the achievement of departmental goals.

• Coordinate and enhance processes related to Due Diligence and Know Your Customer/Business/Employee/Supplier (KYC, KYB, KYE, KYS).

• Supervise transaction monitoring to detect unusual activities.

• Manage in-depth investigations of alerts and ensure reporting to COAF and BACEN.

• Oversee strategies for transaction fraud prevention and detection.

• Adjust rules and risk engines to maintain a balance between security and customer experience.

• Provide support to the Executive Board on corporate and regulatory issues.

• Act as the primary contact for the initial review of contracts and coordinate with external law firms.

• Develop, review, and ensure the execution of AML/CTF policies, Fraud Prevention Manuals, and the Code of Ethics/Conduct.

• Foster a culture of Compliance throughout the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.

• Substantial experience in AML/CTF and/or Fraud Prevention within Payment Institutions, Fintechs, Banks, or Acquirers.

• Comprehensive understanding of BACEN and COAF regulations and circulars pertaining to AML/CTF and payment systems.

• Prior experience in leading or technically coordinating multidisciplinary teams.

• Practical knowledge of investigative analysis methods, transaction monitoring, and anti-fraud rule calibration.

• Strong familiarity with Corporate Law, Contracts, and Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD).
