Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement scalable business software solutions for telecom clients globally.

• Deploy and manage solutions across multiple infrastructure environments.

• Assess technical feasibility and evaluate solution alternatives against specified requirements.

• Collaborate with product and development teams on training, knowledge sharing, and subject matter expertise.

• Convert business needs into systems design, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Kubernetes and Docker, including the deployment of Kubernetes or K3S.

• Experience in developing and maintaining Helm Charts and Docker files from open sources.

• Familiarity with deploying solutions in OpenStack, Proxmox, and Bare Metal settings.

• Knowledge of GitOps and tools such as ArgoCD or FluxCD.

• Software development experience in Python or Bash; knowledge of Go and Java is a plus.

• Strong skills in Linux administration, including network configuration, user management, permissions, and debugging.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and Ansible.

• Creation and maintenance of CI/CD environments using Atlassian Bamboo, Azure DevOps, or GitLab Actions.

• Ability to develop tests utilizing a TDD approach and the Behave testing framework.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to tailor messages to different audiences.
