Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and oversee Kubernetes clusters.

• Create and sustain CI/CD pipelines for containerized .NET (C#) and Angular applications.

• Offer platform functionalities for SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases, which include automation for provisioning, backup and restore services, high-availability setups, and secrets management.

• Administer cloud infrastructure and oversee software deployment, configuration, and ongoing maintenance.

• Develop and maintain real-time security monitoring across cloud platforms.

• Supervise and maintain various development and production environments.

• Collaborate closely with technical and support teams to provide highly available and reliable services.

• Participate in broader engineering and software development initiatives as needed.

• Aid in the ongoing enhancement of platform reliability, scalability, security, and deployment methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Kubernetes and Docker/containerized environments.

• Strong grasp of networking principles and infrastructure.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipeline development, or equivalent experience with AWS.

• Proficient in implementing and managing security policies and practices, preferably in environments compliant with standards such as SOC 2.

• Experience in supporting enterprise-grade production software solutions.

• Solid understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) methodologies.

• Programming skills in a high-level language, such as C#.

• Experience in managing cloud infrastructure and production settings.

• A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Approximately 2–6 years of relevant professional experience.

• Prior experience in Intelligent Transportation Systems, traffic management, smart mobility, or related transportation technology is preferable but not mandatory.
