Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and maintain secure and scalable Azure infrastructure utilizing Terraform.

• Ensure the architecture accommodates evolving data processing requirements.

• Create and sustain CI/CD pipelines for the deployment of infrastructure and code.

• Automate the provisioning and configuration of infrastructure to enhance deployment speed and reliability.

• Implement monitoring solutions to assess system performance and health.

• Proactively identify and resolve infrastructure issues to maintain high availability and reliability.

• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to comprehend infrastructure requirements.

• Provide technical support and guidance for the deployment and operation of data applications and tools.

• Stay updated with DevOps and cloud infrastructure best practices.

• Suggest and implement enhancements to infrastructure management processes.

• Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure setups, configurations, and procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in platform engineering.

• Demonstrated experience in deploying and managing Azure cloud environments.

• Strong understanding of DevOps practices, including automated testing, deployment, and orchestration.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

• In-depth expertise in Azure services and management, particularly Azure data services.

• Proficient in infrastructure-as-code tools, especially Terraform.

• Experience in establishing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.

• Familiarity with monitoring tools and practices, particularly Azure Log Analytics and Datadog.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

• Azure certifications are highly desirable.

• Knowledge of data engineering and big data technologies is a plus.
