Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain application components utilizing the approved technology stack.

• Convert functional and technical requirements into maintainable code, APIs, interfaces, or user-facing features.

• Integrate applications with databases, external services, and enterprise systems adhering to appropriate standards.

• Engage in code reviews, automated testing, debugging, and performance enhancements.

• Work collaboratively with product, architecture, QA, and operations teams during release and production support.

• Contribute to the development of reliable and maintainable solutions throughout the delivery lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Typically possess 4+ years of experience in a related professional capacity.

• Hands-on experience with the role-specific technology stack, including the primary programming language and framework, APIs, SQL, testing, Git, and CI/CD.

• Professional background in building or supporting production software using relevant core technologies.

• Strong knowledge of programming principles, software design, data structures, and maintainable code practices.

• Familiarity with APIs, integrations, data storage solutions, and appropriate testing methodologies.

• Proficient in using Git or another source-control system and structured development workflows.

• Capable of troubleshooting defects and articulating technical findings effectively.

• Experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile or iterative delivery environment.
