Platform Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance the agentic harness — the orchestration layer responsible for planning, routing, and executing autonomous agent workflows with reliability.

• Develop the semantic knowledge base that represents organizational knowledge.

• Create and advance a reactive, actor-based execution engine for concurrent, event-driven agent operations with exceptional isolation and resilience.

• Design distributed systems with instrumentation that scale efficiently and reliably.

• Work collaboratively with frontend, product, and devops teams to ensure smooth integration.

• Architect for scalability, performance, and efficiency at the logic, network, and database levels.

• Establish the groundwork for high-quality distributed services that can evolve and grow as we expand.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of backend development experience, emphasizing data systems and high-traffic web applications.

• Proven experience in designing agent orchestration, planning/execution loops, or autonomous AI workflows.

• Knowledge of knowledge graphs, ontologies, or semantic data models.

• Solid understanding of actor-based or reactive concurrency models, event-driven design, streaming APIs, and websockets.

• Strong proficiency in Node.js and frameworks such as Nest.js or Express.

• Practical expertise with both relational (Postgres) and document (MongoDB) databases.

• Experience with observability tools, debugging, and conducting root cause analysis.

• Proven ability in building scalable asynchronous pipelines, particularly for language/AI data.

• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD processes; experience with Datadog, Digital Ocean, and/or GCP is advantageous.
