Platform Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design and progression of Fullsteam’s Microsoft 365 Collaboration Platform and the enterprise identity framework.

• Formulate technical strategies, set architectural benchmarks, and create secure, scalable, and highly automated solutions that foster enterprise growth.

• Create scalable and secure architecture for the Microsoft 365 Collaboration Platform along with associated enterprise services.

• Assess emerging Microsoft cloud technologies and suggest adoption when suitable.

• Develop and manage enterprise identity architecture utilizing Microsoft Entra, which includes SSO, SCIM provisioning, lifecycle automation, and role-based access.

• Provide architectural guidance for the integration of newly acquired companies.

• Design the architecture for Microsoft 365 Copilot and oversee AI experiences based on organizational data.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, or a related area.

• 10+ years of combined education and professional experience in Information Technology or a related field.

• 4+ years of pertinent professional experience in cloud engineering, software engineering, or infrastructure automation can be considered in lieu of a degree.

• Proven experience in designing enterprise Microsoft 365 and Azure architectures.

• Familiarity with enterprise Identity and Access Management, including Microsoft Entra, SSO, MFA, and lifecycle automation.

• Experience in developing cloud-native solutions using scripting, automation, Infrastructure as Code, and contemporary DevOps practices.

• Knowledge in designing secure enterprise platforms within regulated or security-sensitive environments.

• Experience in leading enterprise technology projects that involve platform integration, acquisitions, or significant organizational changes.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a background in producing technical documentation and architectural standards.
