Platform and Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Croatia.

📋 Description

• Zyte is looking for a Senior IT Systems Engineer with extensive experience in Business Systems and Automation to design and manage the internal technology ecosystem that supports our global operations.

• You will be responsible for creating and maintaining the core structure of Zyte's internal SaaS platform, seamlessly integrating systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, financial systems, HR platforms, engineering tools, and collaboration software into a unified, automated framework.

• Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in implementing AI-assisted and AI-driven workflows throughout the organization.

• Focus on thorough root-cause analysis and embrace a 'person-first' approach to service delivery.

• Guarantee ongoing operational compliance with established ISO standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years in IT Engineering, Systems Engineering, Business Systems Engineering, or Platform Engineering, including over 3 years in a senior position responsible for internal business systems and automation at a SaaS or technology company.

• Scripting Expertise: Proficient in scripting and programming with Python, Go, Bash, and Node.js.

• Cloud Infrastructure: Extensive experience managing GCP and AWS environments (VPCs, IAM roles, EC2/S3).

• API & Integration Engineering: Strong background in working with external APIs, including:

• - REST and GraphQL APIs

• - OAuth authentication flows

• - Webhook-based event systems

• - SaaS SDKs and integration frameworks.

• Operating Systems: In-depth knowledge of macOS and Linux environments.

• Identity & Security: Experience in implementing and managing:

• - SSO / SAML / SCIM provisioning

• - Identity lifecycle automation

• - Zero Trust access models.

• Compliance & Governance: Proven experience in supporting or successfully passing security and compliance audits, such as:

• - ISO 27001 | SOC2 | GDPR.

• Experience in remote-first or globally distributed work environments is highly preferred.
