Plans Examiner, ICC Certified

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Evaluate plans, calculations, and specifications to ensure compliance with the latest adopted ordinances, laws, and state building codes.

• Generate plans review comment letters in accordance with municipal guidance and SCA standards.

• Engage with clients as necessary through phone, email, virtual meetings, or in-person discussions to clarify plan check feedback.

⛳️ Requirements

• ICC Certified Plans Examiner with comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of the International model building codes and standard construction practices.

• Over 2 years of experience working within a jurisdiction conducting plan check reviews for both commercial and residential projects.

• Proficient in performing complete life safety reviews (B. P. M. & E.).

• Competent in computer applications and basic word processing skills.

• A high school diploma is required.

• A valid Driver's License is mandatory.

• Must successfully complete a standard background investigation.

• Some college education is highly preferred.
