Plan Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate discussions on plan design with both new and transitioning plan sponsors

• Clarify plan provisions, eligibility criteria, contribution formulas, vesting schedules, and design alternatives

• Assist clients in navigating plan elections and outline their consequences

• Address inquiries related to plan design and propose suitable options

• Detect and resolve or escalate issues related to plan design and compliance

• Summarize the results of plan compliance and calculation reviews, including new comparability allocations

• Conduct calls with new and conversion clients to collect elections, examine provisions, and verify requirements

• Act as the main point of contact for plan design inquiries during the onboarding process

• Oversee multiple onboarding and conversion cases while adhering to timelines and service level agreements (SLAs)

• Convert client decisions into precise, updated plan documents in collaboration with the Documents team

• Evaluate draft plan documents against client elections

• Manage transitions from Retirement Plan Consultants into onboarding

• Collaborate with Compliance, Conversions, and Client Experience teams

• Keep case notes and documentation organized in Salesforce and Ubiquity systems

• Identify gaps in processes, documentation, and communication, and suggest enhancements

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience interacting with clients in plan design consultation and/or retirement plan onboarding

• Understanding of plan provisions, eligibility criteria, contribution formulas, and vesting schedules

• Familiarity with plan compliance and calculation review outcomes, including new comparability allocations

• Capability to independently address ambiguous or non-standard plan design scenarios

• Strong critical thinking, sound judgment, and resourcefulness

• Proficiency in managing multiple simultaneous onboarding and conversion cases while adhering to timelines and SLAs

• Skill in reviewing plan documents for accuracy and completeness

• Proficient in Salesforce and Ubiquity systems

• Availability to work from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time
