Physician, Virtual Health Assessment – Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +15 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional care to patients through a virtual platform.

• Work alongside Physicians and/or Advanced Practice Leads within the Care Team while managing complex patient cases.

• Conduct follow-ups on laboratory results, imaging studies, and ensure effective communication loops with patients and other healthcare providers.

• Utilize tools for virtual examinations, including remote home monitoring devices, remote physical assessments, and point-of-care diagnostics.

• Engage in a collaborative care framework alongside registered nurses, medical assistants, primary care providers, behavioral health specialists, and clinical supervisors.

• Attend mandatory patient-care meetings such as huddles, case conferences, and regular service line All Hands.

• Provide constructive feedback to enhance operational processes and product functionalities.

• Adhere to relevant laws and regulations.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

• Report directly to the Director of Virtual Health Assessment.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD/DO degree from an accredited institution.

• Board Certification in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in primary care or urgent care settings.

• At least 2 years of experience in providing virtual care.

• Must hold a full medical license in TN and FL or TX (not just telehealth).

• Compact license from IMLCC is a plus.

• Proficiency in Spanish is advantageous.

• Willingness and ability to acquire additional licensure in Oscar Medical Group states is a bonus.
