Physician Reviewer – Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Utilization Review

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Evaluate medical records to assess the necessity of services provided

• Apply state-specific workers’ compensation regulations along with widely accepted standards

• Deliver clear, concise, and thoroughly supported determinations

• Finish reviews within specified timeframes (generally 1–5 business days)

• Engage in peer-to-peer discussions as required (organized by Dane Street)

• Prepare addenda when new information becomes available

• Board Certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

• Valid and unrestricted medical license in New York

• Workers’ Compensation Board Certification for New York

• Active involvement in clinical practice
