Physician – Emotional Support Animal Assessor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Perform virtual evaluations for emotional support animals.

• Utilize independent clinical judgment to issue or deny letters based on established criteria.

• Maintain clear and consistent documentation of assessments.

• Ensure letters are completed accurately and within the designated timeframe.

• Provide and write emotional support animal letters for approved clients within two business days following the consultation.

• Treat every client with dignity and respect.

• Work collaboratively with the Pettable team and clients for follow-up support or documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) is required.

• Must hold a valid license in the state of Colorado.

• Must possess their own malpractice insurance.

• Previous experience in issuing emotional support animal letters and understanding related regulations is preferred but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with phone and/or virtual consultations is essential.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.

• A positive attitude is crucial.

• Must have an affinity for technology and the ability to troubleshoot computer or connectivity issues.
