Physician – Dermatopathologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Executes professional responsibilities and technical procedures in dermatopathology to diagnose and treat patients.

• Requests and evaluates necessary tests and procedures to gather information about patients’ health conditions.

• Engages with patients, their families, departmental teams, and medical and nursing personnel on critical issues.

• Fosters professionalism through participation in professional organizations, educational activities, research, and/or publishing.

• Performs additional tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctoral degree in Medicine within the relevant specialty.

• 3-5 years of clinical experience required.

• CPR certification is mandatory.

• BLS certification is essential.

• ACLS and/or other pertinent certifications as stipulated by the department.

• Board certification or eligibility in the relevant specialty.

• Proven capability to promote professionalism through engagement in professional organizations, education, research, and/or publishing.

• Knowledge and skills required to deliver care appropriate for the patient demographics served.

• Understanding of growth and development principles throughout the lifespan.

• Ability to evaluate data reflective of the specific needs of diverse patient populations and age groups.

• Highly effective verbal and written communication abilities.

• Availability for part-time work.
