Physician, Bilingual – Virtual Urgent Care

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +16 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional care to patients in a virtual environment.

• Work collaboratively with Physicians and/or Advanced Practice Leads within the Care Team when addressing complex patient cases.

• Conduct follow-ups on laboratory results, imaging, and maintain closed-loop communication with patients and other healthcare providers as necessary.

• Utilize tools for virtual "exams," which include remote home monitoring devices, remote physical assessments, and point-of-care diagnostics.

• Engage in a collaborative care framework with various team members such as registered nurses, medical assistants, primary care providers, behavioral health professionals, and clinical supervisors, when relevant.

• Attend mandatory meetings that support patient care, including huddles, case conferences, and regular service line All Hands gatherings.

• Offer feedback to enhance operational workflows and product features.

• Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD/DO from an accredited institution.

• Board Certification in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine.

• Proficiency in Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking).

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in outpatient urgent care or emergency department settings.

• At least 2 years of experience in providing virtual care or telemedicine services.

• Licensed to practice in Texas, Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, Ohio, or New Jersey (must possess three out of the six licenses).

• Willingness to obtain licensure in additional states with our support, in coordination with our licensing vendor.

• Possession of a Compact license from IMLCC or eligibility for such a license (must hold a full, unrestricted medical license in a Compact member state).
