Pharmacy Test Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Direct the complete pharmacy testing process including SIT, UAT, Regression, Parallel Testing, and Production Validation to guarantee the quality delivery of PBM and Medicaid pharmacy solutions.

• Formulate and oversee test strategies, plans, schedules, and execution governance, ensuring alignment with business requirements, CMS guidelines, and state Medicaid regulations.

• Supervise pharmacy functional validation, encompassing claims adjudication, drug pricing, formulary management, prior authorization, rebates, NCPDP transactions, and financial reconciliation processes.

• Manage defects and facilitate cross-functional coordination among business SMEs, vendors, developers, conversion teams, and testing resources to ensure prompt issue resolution and testing preparedness.

• Deliver leadership reporting and communicate with stakeholders by tracking quality metrics, risks, issues, and test progression.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of software testing experience.

• More than 5 years of Test Management experience.

• Strong background in PBM or Medicaid pharmacy.

• Experience with large-scale DDI or MMIS modernization initiatives.

• Proficiency in: Claims adjudication, NCPDP transactions, Prior Authorization, Formulary management, Drug Rebate processing, and Pharmacy financial validation.

• Familiarity with ALM/JIRA and SQL for data validation purposes.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
