Pharmacy Technician, Rare Disease

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Manage call queues, perform data entry, and execute other tasks typical of a registered pharmacy technician.

• Convert prescriptions from healthcare providers and input information into patient profiles in compliance with state regulations.

• Collaborate with pharmacists following work instructions, policies, procedures, management directives, and relevant national or state regulations.

• Ensure adherence to quality assurance standards.

• Report any adverse events.

• Assist in outreach efforts to prescribers and patients.

• Engage in training and collaborate with colleagues and other departments.

• Available to work Monday–Friday, from 10:00am to 7:00pm Central time.

⛳️ Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician is required.

• A valid Pharmacy Technician license from FL, IN, or PA is essential.

• National Certification is considered an advantage.

• Exceptional customer service skills are necessary.

• Basic math and computer skills, including navigation in Windows, Microsoft applications, internet, and email, are required.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities are essential.

• Capacity to learn internal systems, processes, and programs as required.

• Candidates must reside in Florida, Indiana, or Pennsylvania.

• A reliable internet connection through a cable broadband or fiber optic service provider with a minimum speed of 10Mbps download and 5Mbps upload is required.
