This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Accurately process new prescriptions, refills, and discontinuations.
• Ensure complete and compliant medication profiles for patients.
• Handle a high volume of inbound calls from hospice partners, prescribers, and clinical staff.
• Triage and resolve routine service inquiries while escalating complex issues as necessary.
• Provide outstanding customer service through effective communication and active listening.
• Implement de-escalation techniques when dealing with urgent or emotionally sensitive situations.
• Achieve service level, quality, productivity, and documentation benchmarks.
• Use pharmacy systems and internal tools to manage workflows and record activities.
• Identify service issues and collaborate with operations leadership for resolution.
• Engage in training, system updates, and initiatives for continuous improvement.
• A minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a pharmacy technician.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Required CPhT or EXCPT Pharmacy Technician certification.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Clear and effective verbal communication skills.
• Experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a healthcare environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities with a calm, empathetic demeanor.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, call-driven setting.
• Familiarity with pharmacy systems, patient records, or workflow platforms.
• Customer-focused approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to confidentially handle sensitive patient and clinical information.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing processes, systems, and priorities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to documentation standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively with pharmacists and colleagues.
