This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Act as the main contact for members, providers, and pharmacies through phone, chat, email, and written communication.
• Address inquiries regarding mail order, benefit design, formulary coverage, medication pricing, prior authorization requirements, and claims processing.
• Facilitate interactions via phone, chat, email, and other digital platforms while upholding quality and service standards.
• Assist network pharmacies with prescription claim processing and evaluate claims in accordance with benefit guidelines and contractual standards.
• Provide support to clinical pharmacists with patient and provider outreach, appointment scheduling, enrollment in clinical programs, and follow-up on medication adherence.
• Record interactions and resolutions in internal systems to ensure continuity of care, quality assurance, compliance, and operational reporting.
• Manage issues from initial contact through to final resolution, collaborating with internal teams as necessary.
• Utilize AI-powered tools and internal knowledge bases to address inquiries and document interactions.
• Promote a collaborative, respectful, and diverse team atmosphere while taking on assigned responsibilities and projects.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Active and current National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA).
• 1 to 3 years of experience as a pharmacy technician in a health plan, retail pharmacy, TPA, or PBM contact center role.
• Experience in mail order or specialty pharmacy is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with pharmacy claims processing, benefit design, and PBM terminology.
• Detail-oriented, flexible, and analytical.
• Capability to identify and address root causes.
• Empathetic and intellectually curious.
• Proficient in multitasking and prioritizing tasks across phone, chat, and email platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple lines of business and changing priorities.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent relevant work experience.
