Pharmacy Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Support the Clinical Pharmacy Team with activities associated with pharmacy utilization and the execution of medication management programs.

• Make outbound calls and receive inbound calls from members and providers to identify and address care gaps.

• Act as a liaison for clinical pharmacy initiatives and serve as a subject matter expert for medical services, physicians, and project teams.

• Engage with internal and external clinical personnel, provider offices, health plan partners, and in-network pharmacies.

• Conduct research, process, and resolve drug authorization requests while addressing related inquiries from physicians.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a California State Board Licensed Pharmacy Technician certification.

• High School Diploma and a minimum of 1 year of experience in a pharmacy-related role (Retail or Managed Care).

• Preferred: Familiarity with CMS/HEDIS Quality STAR measures.
