Online Adjunct Instructor – Foundations of Pharmacy Practice

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• The adjunct faculty member will report directly to an Academic Dean.

• Engage in both verbal and written communication with students regarding their performance feedback.

• Maintain availability for students through phone, email, and individual appointments as necessary.

• Address inquiries from the Dean and University staff concerning performance and student-related issues or concerns.

• Demonstrate professional behavior, language, communication, demeanor, and attire at all times.

• The employee is expected to fulfill any additional duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

• Foster high levels of student engagement through activities, community building, and student-centered learning approaches.

• Exhibit mastery in the subject matter and effectively articulate concepts to students.

• Faculty members are tasked with establishing a supportive classroom presence for students.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred teaching experience of at least 3 years in the relevant field of study.

• Must be self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working collaboratively in a team environment with minimal oversight.

• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, leadership, and colleagues.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities in the English language.

• Online adjuncts need consistent access to a computer that meets the following specifications: Windows XP or newer, Microsoft Office 2010, and an internet connection.

• An Associate's degree in Pharmacy or as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT, RPh, or PharmD) is required.

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in retail, hospital, or outpatient pharmacy after obtaining licensure or credentialing.
