Pharmacy Services Supervisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations that support provider and member call center services, prior authorization processes, pharmacy claims review activities, and associated operational workflows.

• Guide, mentor, develop, and assess team members while managing hiring, onboarding, training, performance evaluation, and employee development initiatives.

• Track productivity, quality, attendance, staffing levels, key performance indicators (KPIs), service level agreements (SLAs), and operational performance metrics to ensure that contractual obligations are consistently met.

• Partner with pharmacy leadership, quality assurance teams, training personnel, clients, and business collaborators to promote process enhancements, operational initiatives, and compliance standards.

• Assist with reporting, audit preparedness, documentation upkeep, issue resolution, and special projects while cultivating a culture of accountability, service excellence, and ongoing improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in managed care, Medicaid, pharmacy benefit management (PBM), pharmacy operations, healthcare call center operations, prior authorization, or similar healthcare settings.

• At least 2 years of leadership experience in supervising, coaching, mentoring, training, or managing operational teams.

• Proven experience in managing performance metrics, productivity targets, quality benchmarks, KPIs, SLAs, staffing levels, and operational reporting.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, reporting tools, and operational systems.

• Preferred experience in supporting Medicaid pharmacy claims processing, prior authorization programs, pharmacy operations, or healthcare services.
