Pharmacy Quality Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Act as the main point of contact between internal and external teams, including providers and pharmacies, to enhance pharmacy quality performance.

• Manage a designated territory and collaborate closely with strategists, trainers, pharmacy quality performance managers, and health plan partners.

• Create and implement a thorough external engagement plan for the territory.

• Conduct regular field visits with external partners.

• Work together with stakeholders to encourage external partners’ adoption of new concepts and changes.

• Take responsibility for the pharmacy quality performance of covered external partners, including Part D Patient Safety Measures, HEDIS, and PQA.

• Prepare executive summaries highlighting successes and challenges in external engagement initiatives.

• Proactively devise solutions, collaborate on resolutions, and monitor associated actions.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

• Adhere to all policies and standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.

• A minimum of 3 years of pharmacy experience, ideally in a managed care setting, is required.

• At least 2 years of business-to-business (B2B) experience is required.

• Preferred 1 year of experience with Medicare and/or Medicaid.

• Preferred 1 year of experience with analysis tools or systems.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in implementing quality process improvement initiatives.

• Experience in documenting requirements, creating training materials, and engaging directly with end users is preferred.

• LPT - Licensed Pharmacy Technician preferred.

• Must be willing to travel 40% of the time.
