Pharmacy Item Entry Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Generate prescription orders in accordance with all pharmacy protocols and guidelines.

• Precisely analyze and input prescription details into the prescription processing system.

• Execute standard pharmacy operations while adhering to established procedures.

• Uphold patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Confirm patient identity by verifying date of birth, address, and other identifying information prior to initiating orders.

• Ensure prescription information is accurate and complete before processing.

• Complete and revise patient profiles as necessary.

• Comply with and promote all company policies and procedures.

• Perform a PD3Q quality check prior to finalizing and submitting orders.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Registered Pharmacy Technician in the State of Florida for the Florida location or currently enrolled in a program to become a licensed pharmacist in Florida with a valid intern license.

• Capability to input 30 prescriptions per hour (prescriptions received via mail, phone, or fax).

• Capability to input 60 prescriptions per hour (prescriptions received electronically).

• Strong attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks or interruptions simultaneously.

• Excellent communication skills, utilizing Microsoft Teams for team collaboration and Outlook for professional communication.
