Pharmacy Care Representative – Overnight

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Make inbound or outbound calls to patients concerning complex Specialty medication orders, benefits verification, and new patient enrollment.

• Organize and handle requests for new and refill order shipments.

• Gather necessary information to confirm insurance coverage for patient medication orders.

• Validate eligibility, prior authorization, and other reimbursement prerequisites prior to shipment.

• Aid in enrolling and monitoring new customer referrals.

• Clarify CVS/Specialty services to new clients.

• Redirect or escalate clinical inquiries and issues to the staff pharmacist.

• Complete virtual, on-camera training sessions.

• Work an overnight shift assigned upon offer, which may begin between 5:00pm–11:30pm EST and conclude between 1:30am–8:00am EST.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service position managing and resolving a high volume of complex customer issues over the phone.

• At least 1 year of professional experience with Windows-based applications, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word), internet navigation, and email tools.

• Over 1 year of experience with computer keyboarding skills and proficiency.

• A direct/hardwired internet connection to a modem/router within 7 feet of the computer.

• Minimum internet speed of 100 Mbps for downloads and 10 Mbps for uploads.

• WiFi and satellite internet connections are not acceptable.

• A secure and private home workspace that is free from distractions.

• Must reside in Pennsylvania.

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience is required.

• Willingness to work potential weekends.

• Previous healthcare experience and knowledge of benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and medical terminology are preferred.
