This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls to patients concerning intricate Specialty medication orders, benefits verification, and onboarding of new patients.
• Organize and process requests for both new and refill order deliveries.
• Gather the necessary information to ensure insurance coverage for patients' medication orders.
• Confirm eligibility, prior authorization, and other reimbursement prerequisites before shipment.
• Aid in the enrollment and monitoring of new customer referrals.
• Explain CVS/Specialty services to new clients.
• Transfer or escalate clinical inquiries and issues to the staff pharmacist for resolution.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service position addressing and resolving a high volume of complex customer inquiries over the phone.
• At least 1 year of experience with Windows-based applications, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word), internet navigation, and email applications.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience with computer keyboarding skills and aptitude.
• An active and valid Pharmacy Technician License and/or Certification as mandated by the State of IL.
• You need a direct/hardwired internet connection to a modem/router located within 7 feet of your computer, with a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 3 Mbps.
