Pharmacist / Pharmacy Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the end-to-end execution of implementation and configuration projects: confirm the scope, develop the plan, conduct kickoff meetings, manage quality assurance, oversee the go-live process, and ensure a smooth handover to support.

• Analyze the current operational processes of pharmacies and design improvements that align with their workflows while delivering clear, measurable benefits.

• Convert client requirements into actionable engineering tasks: craft detailed tickets with acceptance criteria, identify edge cases, and maintain a prioritized and organized backlog.

• Manage communication with clients and team members, taking full responsibility for the accuracy and tone of all interactions.

• Define how technical issues are conveyed to clients and how client requests are transformed into engineering specifications.

• Track the critical path of ongoing projects, identify risks proactively, and ensure milestones and go-live dates are met without sacrificing quality.

• Address pharmacy-specific edge cases across various pharmacy management systems.

• Assess completed implementation cycles and continually enhance playbooks and internal processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in software implementation, project management, or pharmacy operations with direct responsibility for projects.

• Pharm.D., registered pharmacy technician credential, or significant hands-on experience in pharmacy operations.

• Proven ability to identify operational challenges and translate them into well-defined, actionable technical requirements.

• Familiarity with pharmacy management systems.

• Understanding of PHI handling and standard security and privacy protocols.

• Proven capability to make sound, independent judgments and take ownership of outcomes.

• Nice to Have: Experience with AI in the healthcare sector.
