This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Conduct personalized consultations with patients to educate them about medical cannabis, explore various consumption methods, and suggest suitable treatments based on physician certifications.
• Maintain precise and confidential patient records, documenting consultations, recommendations, and any pertinent details while complying with privacy and data protection laws.
• Ensure full adherence to Pennsylvania Medical Marijuana regulations and dispensary guidelines, which includes keeping accurate records, verifying patient certifications, and overseeing the Prescription Monitoring Program.
• Dispense medical cannabis products in accordance with physician recommendations and patient requirements, ensuring correct usage and dosage.
• Keep abreast of the latest advancements in cannabis pharmacology to enhance patient care through evidence-based recommendations and insights into industry developments.
• Work collaboratively with the Dispensary General Managers and other team members to facilitate efficient operations and meet key performance indicators.
• A valid Pennsylvania Pharmacist license, in good standing.
• A Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or a PharmD.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a pharmacy environment assisting patients/customers.
• Successful completion of any State-mandated Medical Cannabis educational programs.
• Capability to learn and comprehend cannabinoids and their interactions with the human body.
• Proficiency in working effectively with employees, management, patients, governmental bodies, community members, and the general public.
• Knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to the industry, personnel law, safety standards, municipal codes, and organizational policies, regulations, directives, and standard operating procedures.
• Extensive understanding of cannabis pharmacology and its therapeutic uses, or a willingness to develop this knowledge.
• Exceptional communication, patient education abilities, and customer service skills.
