Pharmacist – 7on/7off Overnight

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Provide remote services as a hospital pharmacist, focusing on remote order entry and CPOE order evaluation and verification.

• Apply clinical expertise, including monitoring, dosing, and reviewing patient medication therapies.

• Ensure the acquisition or renewal of all pharmacy staff licenses.

• Serve as a staff pharmacist when necessary.

• Offer consultations to physicians and nursing staff.

• Deliver clinical medication dosing services.

• Review and monitor patient profiles and laboratory values to assess therapeutic outcomes.

• Coordinate medication access in accordance with facility policies and state and federal regulations.

• Start with a floating overnight schedule, transitioning to a 7on/7off schedule over time.

• Maintain continuity of care for patients in client hospitals.

⛳️ Requirements

• A California pharmacist license is mandatory, and the candidate must reside in California.

• Active pharmacy licenses in both the state of residence and the state where originally licensed are required.

• Preferred 2-4 years of clinical experience in a hospital inpatient setting.

• Ability to obtain reciprocity for additional states is essential.

• Proficient in using multiple pharmacy information systems and comfortable with technology.

• Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with other healthcare professionals.

• Must hold an active California license and be capable of obtaining licensure in Nevada and Wyoming.

• The ability to reciprocate the pharmacy license is required.
