This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +5 more states.
• Conduct daily, in-person sales visits to physicians, clinics, optometry practices, and medical offices within a designated territory.
• Present clinical data, product features, and appropriate usage information to influence prescribing practices and product utilization.
• Secure orders, commitments, or agreements to prescribe or utilize Alcon pharmaceutical products, adhering to company policies.
• Regularly plan and implement field routing schedules to ensure robust territory coverage and high levels of field presence.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and office staff to enhance access, utilization, and advocacy.
• Support product adoption through consistent follow-up, education, and responsiveness to customer needs.
• Engage in industry meetings, training programs, and regional or national sales meetings as required.
• Conduct sample drops accurately and in full compliance with PDMA, company policy, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain a strong working knowledge of assigned products, disease states, and the competitive landscape.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school + 8 years; Associate's + 4 years; Master's).
• Proficiency in reading, writing, understanding, and communicating fluently in English.
• Valid driver’s license with the capacity to travel daily within the assigned territory.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage time in a field-based role.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and consultative-selling skills.
• Comfort engaging healthcare professionals in professional, face-to-face discussions.
