This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop, implement, and continually enhance content compliance policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflows, service level agreements (SLAs), and controls.
• Prioritize and manage content review requests according to business requirements, deadlines, and associated risks.
• Provide early-stage advice to minimize rework and expedite review processes.
• Create and uphold compliant language libraries.
• Ensure that claims are precise, substantiated, and reinforced by qualifiers, disclaimers, and disclosures.
• Evaluate comparative, superiority, testimonial, endorsement, and structure/function claims.
• Interpret and apply FDA and FTC advertising and promotional guidelines, USP 795/797/800, HIPAA marketing standards, and federal and state pharmacy regulations.
• Monitor trends in enforcement, digital marketing risks, and regulatory changes.
• Act as the compliance liaison for designated departments and facilitate cross-functional follow-ups.
• Create content playbooks, training materials, language guides, and compliance resources.
• Maintain a verifiable repository of content reviews, approvals, decisions, and justifications.
• Prepare documentation for audits, inspections, and external assessments.
• Manage review queues and tools such as Asana.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and formulate reporting and process improvement recommendations.
• Collaborate with Legal, Privacy, Clinical, Marketing, and other stakeholders on content risks, notifications, permissions, patient data utilization, and public-facing matters.
• Address compliance inquiries with guidance, rationale, and suggested actions.
• PharmD degree is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmacy compliance, regulatory affairs, Medical Legal Regulatory (MLR) / content review, or a related field within healthcare, pharmacy, biotech, or digital health.
• Direct experience in reviewing marketing, educational, or other regulated content.
• In-depth knowledge of USP 795/797/800, FDA and FTC advertising and promotional guidelines, HIPAA marketing standards, and federal and state pharmacy regulations.
• Ability to interpret complex regulations and convert them into practical, scalable guidance and timely, defensible decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions, educate non-compliance teams, and influence outcomes without formal authority.
• Outstanding writing, editing, communication, organizational, and prioritization skills, with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
• Capacity to balance regulatory requirements with business objectives by identifying compliant solutions.
• Experience in developing and maintaining SOPs and compliance processes.
• Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift occasionally as necessary.
• Willingness to work the 1st shift, Monday–Friday, Mountain Time.
