This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Supervise the creation of cutting-edge assessment products, which encompasses research, design, development, and execution.
• Contribute to and implement intricate plans or solutions approved by Test Development leadership.
• Serve as a content expert in Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) meetings and may present to senior leadership.
• Manage client and stakeholder expectations, addressing requests thoroughly and promptly.
• Identify and escalate complex issues across the department while proposing and seeking solutions.
• Collaborate with various divisions as necessary.
• Provide senior-level review and contribute to content test development across multiple projects.
• Oversee and potentially lead meetings with clients, including standard setting, content advisory, rubric validation, range finding, data review, and other engagements.
• Lead training for Content and Test Development, including preparation for standard setting.
• Independently contribute to proposal work when required.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or Math Education with a minimum of 8 years of experience leading the development of content for large-scale summative assessments or equivalent relevant experience.
• A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Extensive content knowledge is essential.
• Proven experience and familiarity with innovative assessment products, including research, design, development, and implementation efforts, is highly favored.
• Awareness of early childhood formative products and experience in developing district-level assessments is advantageous.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role (People or Project).
• Highly creative and innovative with a solid understanding of Principled Assessment Design, learning processes, and learning progressions.
• Experience contributing to Technical Advisory Committees (TAC) is preferred.
• Highly comfortable interacting with and delivering presentations to senior leadership across divisions and the C-suite of the organization.
• Proven knowledge and experience with the U.S. Education System and Education Assessment is required.
• Demonstrated and highly effective thought leadership.
• Strong data-driven skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to identify problems and conceptualize solutions.
• Highly flexible and adaptive, able to pivot as necessary to reach solutions.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines effectively.
• Highly skilled in collaboration, communication, and multitasking.
• Willingness to travel 1-8 times per year, including trips lasting 2-5 days.
