This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• As a member of the Thermo Fisher Scientific team, you will engage in meaningful work that positively impacts the world on a global scale.
• The Pharma Solutions Architect is tasked with designing and developing integrated Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry solutions tailored for pharmaceutical and biopharma clients.
• This position collaborates with commercial teams, technical specialists, business units, and customer stakeholders to grasp customer requirements and transform them into scalable, value-oriented solutions across products, services, workflows, digital capabilities, and enterprise offerings.
• Act as a consultative partner to customer stakeholders in R&D, manufacturing, quality, procurement, technical operations, supply chain, and executive leadership.
• Recognize opportunities to enhance customer partnerships by aligning needs across various functions, locations, and regions.
• Establish credibility with clients by showcasing a profound understanding of pharmaceutical industry trends, regulatory demands, scientific workflows, and operational priorities.
• A Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, engineering, business, or a related field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Extensive experience in pharmaceutical, biopharma, life sciences, laboratory, manufacturing, quality, technical operations, commercial, or solution consulting roles.
• In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical post-discovery workflows, customer needs, and business drivers.
• Experience in designing or supporting complex Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry solutions involving multiple stakeholders, functions, products, and services.
• Capability to convert technical and business requirements into clear solution strategies and customer-facing value propositions.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with senior technical, operational, procurement, and business stakeholders.
• Proven ability to influence without direct authority within a matrixed organization.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and project coordination skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% with a valid passport.
