This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.

📋 Description

• In the role of Pre-Litigation Case Manager at Parnall Law, you serve as a crucial link between our clients and our legal team, ensuring that each case receives the necessary attention, organization, and advocacy from the initial intake through to resolution.

• Participate in a firm-wide huddle every Monday at 8:00 AM.

• Join daily team mini huddles from Tuesday to Friday at 8:00 AM.

• Attend biweekly meetings with the Team Lead, fully equipped with supporting metrics data.

• Reach out to new clients within 24 hours of retention to complete the intake questionnaire.

• Provide telephonic updates to clients every three weeks, ensuring no more than 15 outstanding updates at any time.

• Ensure that outstanding tasks do not exceed 50 at any point.

• Complete case analysis within three weeks of receiving insurance confirmations.

• Schedule client evaluation appointments with assigned attorneys within two days after drafts are completed by Medical Paralegals.

• Submit demand letters within two days after receiving approved client authority.

• Keep status comments updated for all weekly OOS meetings in accordance with the OOS preparation guidelines.

• Maintain an in-depth familiarity with each case in your caseload.

• Record all case information and dates in SmartAdvocate.

• Assist with property damage claims when needed.

• Communicate with adjusters regarding case matters.

• Ensure timely opening of health insurance subrogation claims (or secure authority to refrain from opening them).

• Ensure that Medicare subrogation claims are opened promptly on the portal.

• Review and update evaluation forms and demand packages prior to attorney meetings with clients.

• Draft correspondence for attorneys and save/name all documents in SmartAdvocate according to the Naming Protocol.

• Calendar all case information in line with the calendaring protocol.

• Answer incoming calls through the Final Call Group and conduct backup intake calls as per the intake protocol.

• Meet with clients during intakes, transition to litigation meetings, and settlement disbursement meetings.

• Collaborate with all staff assigned to your cases to drive each case toward a successful conclusion.

• Keep clients informed by providing copies of file documents.

• Post all costs, including anticipated costs that have not yet been invoiced (such as for investigators, consultants, etc.).

• Monitor dashboard metrics/KPIs and actively strive to maintain those metrics in optimal condition.

• Adhere to and uphold all firm policies and procedures.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in Plaintiff's personal injury case management (PI adjacent/legal assistant and medical field/behavioral health experience will not be taken into account).

• Strong comprehension of state, local, and federal court regulations.

• Deep empathy for clients who have been injured.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.

• Self-assurance and drive to surpass expectations.

• Professional appearance and demeanor.

• Willingness to learn, develop, and inspire team members.

• Excellent organizational and time-management capabilities.

• Ability to work during Mountain Time business hours (Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM–4:00 PM).

• Must be able to pass a background check.
