Personal Injury Paralegal

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Compose demand letters, legal pleadings, motions, and affidavits.

• Oversee and organize personal injury case files from initial intake through trial or settlement.

• Gather, review, and summarize medical records.

• Provide summaries of deposition testimonies and discovery responses.

• Engage in professional communication with clients, insurance adjusters, opposing counsel, and court personnel.

• Support attorneys with mediation, settlement, and trial preparations, including the coordination of exhibits and witnesses.

• Deliver direct trial assistance by managing exhibits, organizing witness files, and ensuring attorneys have all necessary materials.

• Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and offer general case support.

• Collaborate effectively with attorneys and team members.

• Maintain proactive and professional communication with clients during business hours (9 AM – 6 PM).

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of recent experience as a personal injury paralegal.

• Experience in workers’ compensation matters is advantageous.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, legal research tools, and cloud-based platforms.

• Strong preference for experience with personal injury software, such as FileVine or SmartAdvocate.

• Familiarity with Clio or other legal CRM systems is a significant advantage.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Highly organized, proactive, and capable of independently managing multiple deadlines.

• Comfortable using video conferencing and working remotely.

• Must have a reliable Windows-based laptop, smartphone, and broadband internet connection.
