This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver personal financial counseling and management services to military personnel and their families.
• Aid service members in creating spending plans for prolonged absences.
• Create and disseminate informative financial materials.
• Organize, promote, and conduct Personal Financial Management classes and workshops throughout the military lifecycle.
• Address requests for age-appropriate classes or seminars.
• Provide virtual counseling through secure web-based chat, video communications, and authorized customer-sponsored secure video teleconferencing.
• Handle duty-to-warn situations in accordance with Department of Defense protocols.
• Communicate effectively with leadership and engage in individual and group supervision.
• Share insights on trends and issues impacting assigned installations.
• Take part in in-service training, quality improvement committees, and other contract-related activities.
• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.
• A bachelor's degree is required.
• An associate degree combined with 4 years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
• A high school diploma alongside 6 years of experience may also be considered instead of a bachelor's degree.
• A minimum of 3 years of financial counseling experience is essential.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Proficiency in English is required.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is necessary if mandated by the contract.
• Capable of obtaining a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation.
• Must successfully pass the Congressionally Mandated Disclosures for Organizational Conflicts of Interest process.
• Must possess one of the following certifications: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).
• A valid in-state driver's license is required.
