This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Showcase Sky Climber's permanent installation product range to customers and project stakeholders.
• Establish, nurture, and sustain relationships with both new and existing clients within the designated territory.
• Seek and pursue opportunities in the new construction and existing building retrofit sectors.
• Examine drawings, specifications, and contract documents to determine compliant façade access and window washing system solutions.
• Work in collaboration with Sales, Customer Support, Engineering, and Project Management teams to create project solutions and address customer issues.
• Prepare comprehensive proposals, project estimates, scopes of work, and equipment suggestions.
• Refine project scope, pricing, and specifications to ensure successful project delivery.
• Conduct product demonstrations and customer training as necessary.
• Assist with installation and inspection activities when required.
• Oversee bid qualification documentation and project record-keeping requirements.
• Follow up on contracts, purchase orders, project approvals, and customer communications.
• Represent Sky Climber at industry events, trade associations, customer meetings, and networking opportunities.
• Aid in the implementation of company marketing and sales strategies.
• Prepare for and engage in regular sales meetings and business reviews.
• Maintain precise sales activity reporting and pipeline management.
• Employ problem-solving and issue-resolution techniques to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Provide prompt verbal and written updates to sales leadership and senior management.
• Consistently achieve or surpass assigned sales targets and revenue goals.
• Undertake additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Prior sales experience is essential; experience in suspended access or the construction industry is strongly preferred.
• Technical knowledge of suspended scaffolding, façade access systems, and permanent building access solutions is preferred.
• Experience interacting with general contractors, architects, engineers, building owners, and property management companies.
• Capability to read, interpret, and analyze blueprints, construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Experience navigating commercial construction projects and active job sites.
• Proficient in Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, and construction management platforms like Procore or BuildingConnected.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess project opportunities and sales data.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
