This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece.
• Develop and maintain the non-functional test plan for review by management or leadership.
• Strategize, prepare, execute, and analyze non-functional testing activities.
• Formulate a comprehensive end-to-end non-functional testing strategy.
• Create performance test scripts for various performance and resilience testing scenarios, and assist in preparing performance test data.
• Conduct resilience, recovery, load, stress, endurance, and capacity testing.
• Assess resource utilization during test execution to validate application performance and identify potential bottlenecks.
• Evaluate test outcomes, assist in pinpointing non-functional issues, and offer recommendations.
• Empower QA engineers and developers to conduct non-functional tests independently.
• Offer technical support to enhance system performance, capacity, reliability, and scalability.
• Establish standards and best practices for creating robust, maintainable, and high-performance load-testing scripts.
• Assess system performance and stability, providing improvement suggestions.
• Collaborate closely with the Development team and major client's IT team.
• A university degree in Information Technology.
• A minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience in non-functional testing and related tools.
• Proficiency in test planning, estimation, strategy, workload design, test case design, platform setup, test data preparation, and defect management.
• Practical experience with JMeter or Gatling.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Capability to present findings and recommendations clearly to team members, management, and clients.
• Familiarity with agile software development and testing methodologies.
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Experience with Chaos/Kraken for resilience testing is advantageous.
• Practical knowledge of Java for automation is a plus.
• Experience in complex setups involving multiple integrated systems is preferred.
• Background in microservices-based private-cloud-hosted solutions is a plus.
