• We are in search of a results-oriented Performance Marketing Strategist to oversee and direct Owlet’s paid media initiatives on a part-time contractor basis. This position entails planning, executing, and optimizing paid campaigns across essential digital channels, focusing on customer acquisition, brand awareness, and revenue growth. You will also act as the primary point of contact for our paid media/growth agency, ensuring strategy alignment, accountability, and performance relative to established KPIs.
• You will report to the Sr. Director of Digital Marketing and work closely with brand, sales, and product teams to ensure that paid initiatives are integrated, insight-driven, and optimized for maximum impact.
• PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• - Take ownership of and manage the paid media strategy and execution across various channels, including paid social (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest), paid search (Google, Bing), display, and emerging platforms.
• - Act as the main liaison for our paid media/growth agency, overseeing day-to-day communications, campaign briefs, performance evaluations, and strategic alignment.
• - Hold the agency accountable for KPIs such as ROAS, CPA, CAC, and revenue targets; identify gaps and ensure ongoing optimization.
• - Develop and oversee media plans, budgets, and forecasts; allocate spending efficiently across channels to maximize returns.
• - Construct and maintain comprehensive paid strategies that facilitate customer acquisition, product launches, seasonal campaigns, promotions, and more.
• - Lead creative briefings and testing across paid channels; collaborate with brand and creative teams to produce high-performing ad assets.
• - Design and implement A/B testing programs across creative, audiences, bidding strategies, and landing pages to foster continuous improvement.
• - Analyze campaign performance across platforms and provide actionable insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
• - Monitor the competitive landscape and stay informed about platform changes, algorithm updates, and emerging trends in paid media.
• - Collaborate cross-functionally with brand, sales, and product teams to ensure that paid campaigns are coordinated and align with brand messaging.
• - 3+ years of hands-on experience in managing paid media campaigns across paid social and paid search; direct-to-consumer experience is highly preferred.
• - 3+ years of experience working directly with a paid media or growth agency, managing relationships, performance expectations, and strategic direction.
• - Proven ability to drive measurable results: customer acquisition, ROAS enhancement, CAC reduction, and revenue growth through paid channels.
• - In-depth proficiency with Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and TikTok Ads, including TikTok Shop; experience with additional platforms (Pinterest, YouTube, programmatic) is advantageous.
• - Strong analytical mindset: comfortable with platform data, generating reports, identifying trends, and translating insights into strategic actions.
• - Experience in managing paid media budgets and creating media plans that balance efficiency and scale.
• - Solid understanding of creative strategies for paid media; knowledgeable about what drives ad performance and capable of effectively briefing agency or creative partners.
• - Experience in managing or supporting affiliate marketing programs, including affiliate network platforms, partner recruitment, and performance tracking.
• - Excellent project management and communication skills; capable of working cross-functionally and managing multiple programs simultaneously in a part-time role.
• - Customer-centric approach: you focus on acquisition outcomes and consistently advocate for efficient, high-quality spending.
