This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Serves as the main point of contact for designated customers, fostering strong and collaborative relationships.
• Delivers a high level of dedicated customer support through regular face-to-face interactions.
• Conducts shop audits to verify that Axalta's equipment is functioning properly, Axalta products are utilized correctly, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are adhered to.
• Evaluates cost and productivity key performance indicators (KPIs) and discusses findings with customer management.
• Oversees the budget for each center, ensuring that monthly expenses remain within established limits.
• Collaborates closely with the servicing distribution partner (jobber) to guarantee adequate support and inventory levels.
• Identifies and recommends process enhancements to eliminate obstacles faced by the customer.
• Maintains an organized communication strategy with a regular call schedule, meticulously documenting customer interactions in Salesforce (SFDC) and promptly following up on issues.
• Utilizes technology (SharePoint, Salesforce, Office365, etc.) to boost individual productivity and improve communication with both team members and customers.
• Engages local Axalta teams and involves the appropriate resources for additional support when necessary.
• A seasoned sales professional with a background in Automotive Refinish and a proven history of successful customer support.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in the Automotive Refinish industry.
• A bachelor's degree is preferred but not mandatory.
• Must be willing and able to travel over 50% of the time.
• A valid Driver’s License is required.
• Extensive knowledge of repair shop operations and distribution fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Axalta’s core (APL) product lines.
• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Presents oneself in a professional manner to all customer levels and internally.
• Disciplined and capable of performing effectively in unstructured and autonomous environments.
• Proven effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft call reports and follow-up/visit summary letters.
• Proficient in Office365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to create reports, presentations, pivot tables, etc., for data-driven recommendations.
