Performance Ad Video Editor, Ecommerce – US market

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Edit video advertisements focused on performance for platforms such as Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and various other paid media channels.

• Convert user-generated content (UGC), testimonials, product footage, voiceovers, and existing materials into engaging direct-response creative.

• Create various hooks, openings, formats, and versions to facilitate continuous creative testing.

• Collaborate with Creative Strategists to understand briefs, apply performance insights, and enhance the quality of the work.

• Leverage pacing, sound design, captions, motion graphics, and visual storytelling to boost engagement and conversion rates.

• Oversee multiple projects and revisions while ensuring high quality, speed, and brand consistency.

• Organize project files and creative materials to support an efficient and scalable production process.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional experience in video editing, specifically in paid social, performance marketing, or direct-response creative.

• A portfolio showcasing high-performing short-form video advertisements, which includes UGC and other social-first formats.

• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro and familiarity with After Effects, CapCut, or similar editing software.

• Strong grasp of paid social creative principles, including hooks, pacing, retention, messaging, and calls to action.

• Experience utilizing performance feedback and testing outcomes to generate new edits and creative iterations.

• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle a substantial workload in a dynamic environment.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted creative or editing tools to enhance speed, variety, and production workflows is preferred.

• Experience working with DTC / ecommerce brands, particularly in the health, wellness, or supplement sectors.

• A performance-driven mindset that understands consumer psychology beyond just aesthetics.
