Per Diem Pediatric/Adolescent Research Nurse

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Provide nursing services focused on pediatric and adolescent research.

• Deliver clinical research services directly within patients' residences.

• Engage in clinical research trials spanning various therapeutic areas and phases of study.

• Execute phlebotomy, venipuncture, and manage blood handling and processing.

• Administer subcutaneous injections and intravenous treatments.

• Conduct ECGs, patient observations, and specimen collections.

• Carry out cannulation procedures.

• Work with central venous access techniques.

• Complete comprehensive data documentation.

• Travel to patients' homes to oversee patient visits.

• Operate independently as well as collaborate within a broader team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Registered Nurse with experience in pediatric and adolescent care.

• Proven experience and knowledge in conducting clinical research trials.

• ICH-GCP (Good Clinical Practice) Certification; training available.

• Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.

• Capability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Proficient in completing detailed data documentation.

• Ability to work proactively both independently and within a larger team.

• Competent IT skills and familiarity with computer software.

• Training in Handling and Transport of Hazardous Substances preferred; training can be provided.

• Proficient in phlebotomy (venipuncture) and blood handling and processing.

• Skilled in administering subcutaneous injections.

• Experience in conducting ECGs, observations, and specimen collections.

• Competence in cannulation and administering intravenous therapies.

• Experience working with central venous access procedures.

• Willingness and ability to travel as needed.

• Possession of a valid driving license and access to a vehicle is essential.
